Accessing Examination Information
The Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals determine which information is publically available. Information and updates is accessed through their website at http://www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk/CaseDetails.aspx?id=qJ14349. The reference for the TAYplan examination is 'SDP-180-1'. If you have any queries in this regard please contact the Directorate on 01324 696452 or 696460. Compliance confirmed and Examination Reporters appointed
The Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals have confirmed that TAYplan have conformed with the participation statement (click here to view letter). This confirms that TAYplan have undertaken all the actions in relation to participation of the Proposed Plan that the Authority said it would do back in March 2011. TAYplan has been advised that the following reporters have been appointed - Karen Heywood MRTPI and Scott Ferrie MRTPI (click here to view letter). On 9th January 2012 TAYplan were further advised that a third reporter has been appointed, Mr Mike Cunliffe MCIWEM.
The Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals published a notice on 23rd December 2011 to advise of the examination and appointment of reporters and a further notice on 27th January 2012 to advise of the weblink where information can be found on the examination. TAYplan have sent copies of the notice to all libraries and Council offices within the area.
Submission to Scottish Ministers
TAYplan submitted the Proposed Plan and related documents to Scottish Ministers on 1st December 2011. A statutory notice was placed in the Courier and Press and Journal and all parties as required notified. Click here to view public notice.

Finding Information
Electronic copies of the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (June 2011) and associated documents can be viewed on the publications page of this website (Click here ) or in the TAYplan Proposed Plan Portal - Click here and login.
Hard copies of the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (June 2011) are available for inspection in all public libraries within Dundee City, Perth and Kinross, Angus and North Fife and in all council planning and area/access/local offices within the area. Hard copies can also be purchased direct from TAYplan - Click here for details. Hard copies of the Summary of Unresolved Issues can be viewed at the planning offices in Dundee (TAYplan and Dundee City Council), Perth, Forfar, Cupar, and in St. Andrews Library, St. Andrews.
Hard copies of the actual representations received on the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (June 2011) can be inspected at TAYplan's Office.

The Strategic Development Planning Authority (SDPA)
Designated by Scottish Ministers in June 2008 under the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006. This SDPA comprises Dundee City, Perth and Kinross, Angus and Fife Councils. The role of the SDPA is to prepare and maintain a Strategic Development Plan for the area covered by the four Councils.
