Copy of all responses to the Main Issues Report published

The consultation on the Main Issues Report raised 173 responses from a range of interested parties including individuals, organisations, community councils and developers. In addition, comments were received on the Environmental Report and the draft Equalities and Human Rights Impact Assessment.

A copy of all responses received has been published today on the TAYplan website and in hard copy for referencing in a number of libraries/access/local offices and planning offices across the area.  Details of these are on the TAYplan website under 'Consultations'.

Whilst there is not a requirement to publish this information, TAYplan consider this could assist interested parties in responding to the next stage of the Plan, the Proposed Plan.

It is proposed to present a report to the TAYplan Joint Committee on 31st August 2010.  This will provide an overview of the comments received.

In considering all the responses made they will be grouped into key issues and TAYplan's response to these comments will be published in a schedule of responses received which will be published in February 2011 alongside the Proposed Plan. During this time the TAYplan team will be considering all the responses and preparing the Proposed Plan and related documents.  Copies of the schedule will be publically available at that time.

It is programmed for the Proposed Plan and related documents to be presented to the TAYplan Joint Committee in February 2011.  On approval the next formal consultation is programmed to be undertaken in April-June 2011 which will provide interested parties the opportunity to make their views known on the Proposed Plan and other documents.

Further details on the project timescales are set out within the Development Plan Scheme (March 2010) which can be accessed under 'publications' on the website.
