PARTICIPATE IN PLAN MAKING

A+DS has collaborated with the Strategic Development Planning (SDP) Authorities in Scotland to produce a video that invites greater citizen participation in plan making. To view the video and find out more about this innovative approach to engagement click on the following link:

The video is supported by a resource pack that includes a PowerPoint, which can be downloaded.

Representations to the Proposed Plan, Proposed Action Programme and Equalities & Human Rights Impact Assessment (6th June-1st August 2011)

A statutory advert was placed in the Courier and the Press and Journal Newspapers 2 weeks before the start and within the 1st week of the Period of Representations (click here to view).

Public information events were held during June 2011 across the TAYplan area to explain the Plan and to assist you in making a representation. All of the representations have been considered and remain as 'unresolved issues' which will be considered further independently by the Directorate of Planning and Environmental Appeals.

Comments to the Main Issues Report, Environmental Report and draft Equalities and Human Rights Impact Assessment

The consultation on the Main Issues Report, Environmental Report and draft Equalities and Human Rights Impact Assessment was open between April and July 2010.  All of these documents were published 2 weeks before the formal consultation commenced, which provided the opportunity to view documents and to consider the Environmental Report alongside the Main Issues Report.  These documents are still available for reference at all local libraries/access offices/local offices within the TAYplan area as well as online (available here).
