On the 18 February 2016 the TAYplan Joint Committee agreed to the submit the Proposed Strategic Development Plan (2015) to Scottish Ministers without change. The Joint Committee also agreed the Note of Representations, which will be submitted to Scottish Ministers alongside the Proposed Plan by 8 June 2016. This includes an overall summary of the period for making representations on the Proposed Strategic Development Plan which ran from May to July 2015. TAYplan has today published an Updated Action Programme and a new Development Plan Scheme.

Action Programme 2016

The Action Programme relates to the Approved TAYplan (2012) and sets out the actions needed to deliver the policies in the Plan. It must be updated every two years and the new document replaces the 2014 Action Programme.

A plan for future developments in four local council areas has been backed by councillors.

The TAYplan Joint Committee met yesterday (18 February 2016) and concluded that it will not be making any modifications to the 20 year Proposed Strategic Development Plan (May 2015) following a period of consultation.

Members have approved the plan and accompanying documents for submission to Scottish Ministers by 8th June 2016.  The plan will then be examined by the Planning and Environmental Appeals Division....

TAYplan has received green markers for all of the Scottish Government’s performance criteria that were recently assessed for the year 2014/15.
