The James Hutton Institute is a world class research facility combining crops, soils and land use and environmental research, with new areas of research to understand key global issues, such as food, energy and environmental security, and developing and promoting effective technological and management solutions to these.
Land at The James Hutton Institute Strategic Development Area is located at Invergowrie, just west of Dundee and south of the A90 road within Perth & Kinross Council’s area. The Strategic Development Area includes 5 to 10 hectares of employment land for food and agricultural research facilities.
