TAYplan and partners work with high schools

February 3rd, 2015

TAYplan are passionate about engaging with young people and due to the success of the 2014 Youth Camp, together with School of Environment at University of Dundee, TAYplan are running another youth event in June 2015 to give secondary school pupils the opportunity to think more about their place and town planning as a profession.

The School of Environment at University of Dundee is currently working with the video game phenomenon Minecraft to develop an initiative which can be used to engage better with young people in planning and it is hoped that this could be used at such an event. Local artists at 4J Studios have developed a City Texture Pack to showcase the future vision of Dundee Waterfront, complete with the iconic RRS Discovery and V&A museum.
